Detters Acres Farm is on 76 acres in Northern York County. Beef cattle graze peacefully in green pastures and a gentle breeze ripples through the hay fields. Your Hosts, Ailean and Lorne Detter are York County natives. We love to share our way of life and knowledge if local lore. Ailean can share her experiences of being an artist and art teacher and take you on a tour of her Art Gallery, working for the York County Farmers' Association, Dover Sec't to Representative John Broujos, love for country cooking and entertaining. Lorne having been a farmer and Sales & Service Manager for a feed company for thirty years enjoys a wide range of interests including entertaining by singing and playing his guitar and sharing the everyday life on the farm. After breakfast you may relax here or spend the day with whort driving distances to: |
