Welcome to Swatara Creek Inn Bed and Breakfast, located in the heart of South Central Pennsylvania, amongst the gently rolling farms and woodlands of the beautiful Lebanon Valley, near Hershey.

Come, enjoy the comforts of our three story Victorian mansion overlooking the Swatara Creek from the south and Blue Mountains to the north. You will find the ten guest rooms in this stately home, with it's formal entry foyer, three floor open stairway ad cozy sitting room, offer a blend of the serenity, peace and quiet of by-gone days and todays modern comforts.

Three spacious rooms feature a queen size canopy bed and their own private bath. Also air conditioning for those hot summer evenings.

You'll be sure to find a treasure to return home with from our small gift shop.

Our History The mansion was built as the home of wealthy, local landowner, Jacob Ulrich, about 1860. From 1917 - 1941 the home was owned by Milton S. Hershey and used as a boys orphan home. Later, having several owners and uses, including a fabric warehouse, the mansion had fallen into a considerable state of disrepair. The property was then bought in 1986 and renovate by Dick and Jeannette Hess.

We are available to try and assist you with directions to your location of choice. So whether you're off to see the countryside or choose to relax, and take a walk on the shady four acres of lawn and flower gardens of the inn, you will be sure to find your stay a pleasant alternative for your honeymoon trip, your next weekend getaway, a business trip, anniversary or a family vacation.
